Bike lane parking at Toronto Police Services Board

Item on Toronto Police Services Board Agenda for November 19, 2009 – Parking Enforcement of Bicycle Lanes and cycling safetyLawyer Alan Heisey is asking the Toronto Police Services Board (TPSB) at their November 19th meeting to consider stiffer penalties for people who park motor vehicles in bike lanes. The only way the TPSB takes this seriously is if you write in to support this initiative. You can do this by email. It would be very helpful if you included a specific example of where you were put at risk by vehicles parked in the bike lane. Send your emails in support of increased enforcement to Joanne.Campbell@tpsb.ca and alok.mukherjee@tpsb.ca.
